Tranh temple festival
Tranh temple festival or Tuan Tranh Mandarin Temple located in Thanh Xuyen commune, Bat Be district, Vinh Lai district in Le and Nguyen dynasty, in the early 20th century, it belonged to Ninh Giang town.

This was a big Temple worshiping legendary persons, every year there are two big festivals in February and May. In 1960, Tranh temple was demolished, freeing the ground for other constructions. Things used for offerings were moved to a small temple in the south of Tranh Xuyen hamlet, Dong Tam commune, 300 meters away from the old relic to the north. In 1995, the temple was permitted to be restored. The construction was monumentally built with an expense of nearly one billion dong contributed by people. Until now there have been no research on how the altar in Tranh Temple was established. The Temple now has 11 altar:

1.                   Buddha altar

2.                   Holy mother altar

3.                   Jade emperor altar

4.                   Altar for five great men

5.                   Altar for Tu phu chau ba (heaven, hell, palace of the River God, conservatoire)
