1. Birth Certificate of each party

2. Family Household Registry Book of male or female applicant that the marriage is registered.

In case of lack of the above-mentioned documents, other regular papers are required.

In case the male or female applicant is doubted mentally ill or unconscious of his/her actions, or to have venereal diseases, health certificate issued by district health center is required.

Marriage registration form must be certified by the employer (for govermental officials, employees, armed force), or local People's Committee (for ordinary people) of either party regarding his(her) marital status. This certification of marital status is valid within 30 days. For widower (widow) or divorcee, valid judgement, decision of Court or duplicate of Death Certificate is required.

In case of either party's default by legitimate reason, application must be submitted to marriage registration agency of People's Committee, specifying reason of default with certification of the local People's Committee of the residence.

Divorcees who want to remarry to each other shall have to apply for marriage registration as above stipulated.
